Conference in Hungary

The Lord was so good! Nearly 150 of the CEF family from 16 countries could attend the Central European Conference 2018 in Hungary. The most of the participants have been full-time workers and their families, however a good number of volunteers, board members have joined us also.
For the second time we held the conference in the Soli Deo Gloria Conference Centre in Balatonszárszó, at the lake Balaton.
The Bible teachers have been Dr. Czeslaw Bassara, Poland who serves inside of CEF all around the world as Bible teacher (Proclaiming the Word); Philip Annett, Ireland and Sebastian Edelmann, CEF Central Europe.
The seminars have been held by Colin Hylands, CEF of Ireland, Brent Hauttle, USA, the CEF European Education Team, the MultiMedia Team and by Iulian Mangalagiu, Country Director of CEF Romania and Departement Leader of the CEF Partnership Ministries.
Each session had to be translated parallel into seven different languages. What a great job the translators did! Can you imagine the challenge of the people who have spent the time each morning with the children? Often it was no common language to talk however the activities went very well. Each day a team from a different country has done this ministry.
Since the Lord did provide a wonderful pre-summer weather every day during the afternoon break many families went to swim in the lake. One afternoon an outing has been organised to the old Hungarian town, Keszthely with a great castle.
Back on the field of our ministry we give thanks to the LORD for the fellowship on the Gospel and want to remember also on the topic of the conference: We are still „Facing a Task Unfinished“.
