Camp Mrcajevci began in 2009, and it has been amazing to see how the Lord has not only enabled the development of the camp physically, but to see how He has used the camp to bring change to the lives of those who come to the camp!

Week-long camps for children, teenagers, and young adults are held each summer at this 60-bed facility.

Campers come from all walks of life and background, speaking Serbian, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Roma or English. Some come from Christian homes, while others come from families who have not yet heard or received the Good News.

Our three primary GOALS for this camp are:

  • Evangelization
  • Providing spiritual growth
  • Development of some sort of spiritual service

Campers enjoy an exciting week of opportunities to learn more about the Lord.  Each day the children have small group quiet times, large group Bible study, and individual time for reflection.

They hear Bible stories and learn how God’s Word directly applies to their lives. Campers learn songs of praise and memorize Bible verses to keep in their hearts for when they go back home.

Campers also take part in fun recreational activities such as group games, crafts, and music.

They play on the playground or trampoline, and there are always games of soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, foosball, pingpong and more!

Each day in God’s beautiful creation opens the door for campers to experience God’s love in unique ways.

Renovations and adaptations continue on the older buildings with plans to construct much needed buildings, such as a meeting room, dining hall and more bunkhouses.

There are also plans for recreational facilities, such as a covered basketball pavilion and a ropes course. Plans also include installing heating to the buildings to enable the camp to be used year-round for retreats, conferences, trainings and other ministry opportunities.

This camp is a wonderful support for local workers of CEF as well as for churches and mission organizations in our country.

Praise God for each financial gift which you have sent from your heart and which has come to us.  It is unbelievable to see how the Lord cares for His work in such a wonderful way.
